Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers will sponsor a giant pumpkin weigh off at the Big Red Barn just south of Santaquin. The weigh off will be held on October 16th, 2010 with the winner being presented a grand prize with two runner-ups.
It is at this wonderful time of harvest that South Ridge Farms’ Big Red Barn will also be hosting school tours, welcoming pre-school visits, dishing out the worlds greatest ice cream and offering the best most crispy apples on the planet. The Big Red Barn is the retail sales outlet for Mountainland Apples where customers can get many different varieties of apples year round, peaches and sweet cherries in season. Asparagus is available in the spring and fresh fruit turnovers with melt in your mouth crusts are ALWAYS at the Barn.
